International Exchange Orientation

International Student Orientation begins with online International Student Pre-Arrival Orientation. This required Pre-Arrival Orientation is conducted through Blackboard. It will be available beginning June 1, 2021. Monitor your UAlbany email for more information.

Your UAlbany International Student Orientation continues with New International Student Orientation, beginning on Sunday, August 15, 2021. Orientation sessions will be conducted online through Zoom with optional in-person social activities. As International Orientation nears, Zoom links will be posted on the ISSS New Student webpage. 

During the week of August 15th, you will also participate in University Orientation: Great Dane Transfer Day. This program will provide you with the opportunity to learn about important policies and resources, connect with your peers, and explore campus.
