PACE Political Campaign Management: Core Concepts

    This microcredential provides an insider’s view of the management of political campaigns from leading experts at Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy. The focus of these courses will be on both the theory and practice of managing and leading successful campaigns.  

    As a nine (9) credit microcredential, you will enroll and complete three (3 credit) graduate courses including two core courses and one elective. During these courses, you will: 

    • Examine how political campaigns have evolved and consider evidence from empirical research in Political Science about the efficacy of various campaign strategies. 

    • Learn from seasoned practitioners about the practical aspects of running a political campaign, including strategies for developing effective messages, mobilizing supporters, and responding to crises.  

    • To customize your learning experience, you can choose from one of several courses that focus on topics such as political communication, identity politics, or on political participation.
