Introduction to Grant Writing Workshop

    UAlbany Professional and Continuing Education (PaCE) is pleased to present this topic as part of its Fall Workshop Series.

    This introductory online workshop will cover the basics of grant writing and how to approach potential donors and foundations. We will cover multiple components of grant writing, including clarifying what you are seeking funding to support; how to identify potential funders; how to approach funders; and how to prepare a “Needs Statement" and how to develop a project budget. This course will help you develop the basic tools to begin seeking funds. An advanced course will follow for interested learners in the Spring that will result in the non-credit microcredential.

    *Note: Registration will be free for any Albany County resident or employee making $25 per hr/$52,000 per year or less. Verification may be required.
