The MSW/MPH dual degree program offers a wide range of possibilities for students to gain interdisciplinary knowledge based on an empirical approach to practice. The program has a strong commitment to social justice, addressing individual, community, and population health conditions, and developing leadership skills employed in interventions, agencies, and government. Graduates of the dual degree program are prepared to pursue a wide range of careers that improve health and well-being. Our alumni hold careers in clinical practice, social service organizations, local and state health departments, other government agencies, academic institutions, think tanks, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The possibilities are endless to shape public health social work!
